Not an original composition, but Sebastian's personal interpretation for handpan.
Handpan artist · Composer · Mentor
Music that moves you. Mentoring that moves musicians forward.
Sebastian von Duering is a handpan artist, composer and musical mentor. His music speaks of moments that words often cannot reach. In his mentoring, he guides ambitious players towards more structure, depth and a musical voice of their own.
Craft & expression
Expression is not the absence of technique – it is its fruit.
The quick route promises to skip the craft and go straight to feeling. My way runs the other direction: demanding in the craft, precisely because the goal is a soft one. I build a foundation solid enough to become free on. My compositions speak of farewell, hope, change, closeness and new beginnings – not as an explanation, but as an invitation to discover something of your own in them.
