From rhythm to a voice of his own.
Why composition, rhythm, the stage and guiding people are inseparable for me.
Chapter 1 · Musician
It all started with rhythm.
I started playing drums at nine and was on stage with my first band at twelve. After school I studied drums in Düsseldorf, Los Angeles and Hamburg and worked as a freelance musician – in rock, pop, jazz, metal and electronic music.
Rhythm is still the foundation my music grows from.
Chapter 2 · Teacher
How do we really learn?
I taught and later opened a school for rock and pop music in Hamburg. One question became increasingly important: how do motivating learning and good communication actually work? That curiosity led me to training in communication and learning facilitation – a foundation that still shapes my mentoring today.
Chapter 3 · Handpan
A new form of expression.
After a deep turning point, I looked for new paths. The handpan opened up a way to express emotions and thoughts I had no words for. From that encounter came compositions, concerts and a new direction.
Chapter 4 · Connection
Everything comes together.
Today I combine composition, rhythm, stage experience and guiding people. That background helps me quickly see where someone stands, what is blocking them and which next step truly fits.
I don't only teach what I know. I pass on what I have experienced, tested and understood over decades as a musician.
